Background and Objectives
Troy City Schools (TCS) is launching a redistricting study to define attendance areas for the district’s reconfigured and newly constructed schools, part of the district’s facility master planning.
Primary Objective: To create new attendance boundaries as the district moves from its current model of six K-5 elementary schools and one sixth-grade center to its new model of three K-4 elementary schools and one fifth-sixth grade center.
Secondary Objective: To balance utilization in the new elementary school buildings.
The outcome of this study will inform a redistricting plan for the district, with implementation scheduled for the 2027-28 school year.
